Cat delete pipes/question

Hello everyone, i was wondering if a set of test pipes on an M3 would make it have some rasp or rattle on decel like the video im posting.here

No cats or resonators will cause some rasp...I think test pipes just delete the cats you should be fine. I kinda like the rasp bc it makes it sound more exotic then the other V8s, mustangs etc..

I guess the v8 is different, but that 350 with only test pipes made that raspy noise on decel.. although it did sound pretty sick at WOT.

It gives it a nice raspy exotic sound, but I have a catless midpipe not the test pipes, you'll get the same effect though

but its not the "rock in a tin can" sound on decel like on the video? Its just the typical M3 metallic sound?

Wow that is the worst sounding 350z I have every heard. I like the way vq35xx motors sound but that shit sounds like a Civic with a fart can that is hitting the heat shields.

well most 350z with catless test pipes, just straight pipes without the resonators or anything, had that ugly rasp. Now when you put a full exhaust, it sounded normal but im sure the exhausts didn't have test pipes but high flow cats Aside from the Nissan days i just wanted to make sure the M didn't sound like this with only test pipes.
