advise for lug bolt length for afermarket wheels

I did some searching on the forum and could not find what i was looking for. From what i did read I am not sure whether the 26mm lug bolt is applicable.

Here are the details:
OEM 18s switched out for:
Volk
New front wheels are 19x9 25+
new rear is 19x10 +15
Do i need new lug bolts or is it 100% safe to use stock?
If so what length?
Do i need a 30mm and 35mm bolt set?
Just looking for answers and some direction.
thanks to the gurus of wheels.
Where is Le Mans BLue these days? i miss all his/her insight. Got me where i am with the wheels thru all the info they shared.

Just because the offset changed on the wheel, it doesn't mean you need a longer lug. The lug seat is generally drilled to the same depth as the OEM wheel. This cannot be determined simply by the width and offset. You'd need to verify it with the manufacturer of the wheel (a brand name would be a good start).

Some companies will make their wheels slightly thicker at the hub by 1-3mm from what I've seen. I'm sure there is a weird wheel out there that does need an extended lug, but 99% of the time they will work with OEM lugs.

I'd be surprised if your wheel manufacturer or retailer didn't advise you if different length lug bolts were needed (or even provide them with the wheels) as the liability on something like that could be really high. Generally, it's spacers that require longer lugs.

Just making sure. There is so much information available on the net and i educate myself as much as possible.
There are times i run into people who know more for a given topic whether it be cars, science, etc., but not all the information they provide is correct.
But your response makes sense regarding as to why the stock ones will work. I thought since the offset is decreased compared to stock, there would be less lug thread to engage onto the rotor.

Garage List
Lug bolt length

Lug bolts should engage by a distance of the diameter of the bolt, 12mm in your case. With 1.5mm pitch threads, this is 8 full turns. That's a quick way to check.

Regarding offset, read this explanation, and you can see it doesn't affect lug bolt length: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/...urrentpage=102
