Trying to do the EDC delete w/ autologic, but the VO code isn't showing. I even tried using NCSexpert, and using FA mode, the VO ($223) for the EDC doesn't show, and so I can't remove it. I see some info (not much) about how to do it, all say remove this VO, but it's not there? how to remove it using Autologic or NCS expert? |

We are actually trying this on an e60 m5, but I would *expect* the process to be the same. We do have the fiber optic cable handy, but have not used it I do not believe. Is it possible that we connect the fiber optic cable and then list VO, that $223 will show? There was some mention [if it was indeed you. Tom w/EAS] that it is not possible for the e60. My only other thought was to look into the fa.trc file - and see if the proper VO code is listed there. Can you make a suggestion on this, eventhough it is not w/The AutoLogic method? |

Autologic is not able to disable EDC on E60M5 since this was considered standard equipment. I'll follow up with an email shortly.

Sorry, we do not code remotely.
Contact www.autologic.com and they can let you know of a shop in your area with a programmer to remove the EDC function.
