Other than better sound, any performance gains with ACM exhaust mod?

Alex, how much including the 3.5 black tips? Any difference in sound with the 3.5 tips?

Although ACM has no official posted numbers, all free flowing systems claim gains of 10-15 hp. Just think about it, less restriction in the rear and better flow should equal gain. Will you feel it, not likely, but fuel economy goes up a bit, sound is amazing, and you have a few extra hp most likely.

Has anyone pair this with a catless x pipe or test pipe? Or it would be too raspy like the M performance exhaust with catless x pipe?

Not sure, but I heard this mod with Test Pipes which is similar but a lot cheaper sounds really good.

Honestly, I have never heard the BMW Performance Exhaust in person. From online vids, the sound level is similar but the mod sounds better IMHO, BMW's system is just lighter, ohhh, and over 3k more, lol.

I haven't heard the mod with tets pipes either, but the guys at ACM who have done cars with test pipes and the mod say it's a louder version of the mod, they would be the best people to ask, Alex in particular.

Just had the ACM muffler mod done on Saturday - Excellent sound, no drone. Well worth it - this is how the car should sound from the factory!

Just got mine done today! Was in and out in about 30 minutes. I wanted my exhaust to be louder with a more aggressive tone, and for $500 I couldn't have asked for anything better. Cool place too!
