Go pro help

Sorry up front if this is in the wrong area fellas. I've been out doing some runs in my M using my new go pro but for the life of me can figure out an easy way to edit the videos. Does anyone have a program they recommend? I know some people have said to just use the software on a Mac (iMovie) but I'm struggling with merging videos from my flip and my go pro. Any help would be appreciated

I started to use Premiere Elements. It's not bad, does a bunch of stuff, and it's relatively cheap for video editing SW. I'd check with http://goprouser.freeforums.org/ (gotta register) for other suggestions. I've heard Win7 movie maker works as well.
