Kris,

Good meeting you and racing with you this weekend. I was in the Laguna Seca Fall-Line car.

That was an interesting 2 races to say the least. Rain on slicks on Saturday and then the red flag bs on Sunday. I don't understand how the officials did not re-set the order of the cars after the red flag. Some guys just drove up by 5-6 positions. Did you protest anyone? Someone tried protesting the #30, but the officials said "he did not pass under red" - kind of hard to believe.

Anyways, see you this weekend at RA.

Jack,

Nice to meet you too. It was fun racing with you. Definitely an odd weekend with the last race on Sunday. I did not protest anyone but I did get an email afterwards from the chief steward basically saying that someone protested and that gives us time to show our video of people passing under red (got passed by 6 cars under red). Hopefully they can help us out some. Obviously our goal is to go to the runoffs and having points taken away doesn't help.

RA should be fun hopefully we get some good testing done for June Sprints.

Kris,

Are you planning on submitting video? I would, but it was my first weekend with the car and we didn't have a correct video card. I believe your video would help us both out in the points department...and we both have the same goal (get to the runoffs).

Looking forward to this weekend.

Also, can you forward me the email from the chief steward?

Basically the email said the results are staying since you can't un ring the bell. However she mentioned someone else had protested and it deals with the incident that precipitated the red, but she could not give any details at the time since it is still open.

Here is the video we sent in.

Great recognition of the red flag. I did not see it untill almost the apex of T6. It was also really interesting to see some of my driving from a different view.

Thanks for posting.
