Thanks!
Anyone else? There seems to be a few reviews in the web, but not much from groups such as ours...? |

Not really sure what that review offers, as there's no objective data. It also doesn't discuss how the tire wears over time. Tires are a safety item and it's not something I like to cheap out on.

If I had to buy cheap tires, I would look at the sumitomo htr3 or the hankook v12. The v12 is a good tire but its no pss competitor.

They are super cheap and get the job done, don't expect tons of grip or life expectancy. And as already said, they are very noisy. They are popular in the VW community for the "stance" cars because of the price and soft sidewalls make them great for stretching.

No, they were crap. One started wobbling within 2k miles due to a bubble. Waste of my money

The only tire I've ever seen blow out at speed was a Nankang. A buddy was testing out his new nitrous system, the sidewall blew out, car started fishtailing as it slid off the road, and then ended up flipping sideways up into the air in a barrel roll. I'm sure that it was a different model tire, as "Noble Sport" wasn't out back then, but I'll never buy Nankang.

Just a quick update: I've had these tires now for four months, and they are, well... you get what you pay for. They're not complete crap, but pretty close. VERY little real-world grip in turns, and you can feel their stiff lack of response. If you're looking for a tire to put on a daily driver in which you'll only drive straight highway lanes, they might be worthwhile. Otherwise -- AVOID.
