Looks like a very good paint job !
The lasered ///M on the tips are on the other side,so..the exhaust on the pic. is actualy upside down....
Also the paint will smell the first of couple hundred miles !
Conclusion....well done...
BTW....i hope you like the exhaust note .

Nice job! You'll never even notice the cans once installed...unless you assume the prone position with a flashlight in hand. You may notice it change character a little once broken in. Mine developed a little more howl starting at ~3k rpm, great sound! Enjoy!

Nice job with that. Good luck with the exhaust, it was high on my list.

They are visible from a distance from the back which was my main reason for painting. Not a big thing by any means, but it was a few extra bucks so why not.

Exactly, a cheap easy fix that makes a huge difference.

Yeah, I wish...

My M3 is my DD. I don't have tons of time to take off the exhaust, paint it and put it back on .

I might have to continue living with the unpulished scrotum look

Before putting it on, you might want to do the exhaust mod. A pair of pliers, a hack saw and a few blades and plenty of crazy glue. Make it a tad louder!

Let us know how it goes if you do.
Oh, and you need tape.

I'm inna crazy mood. Enjoy that exhaust LarThal

I hate black cans, it seems to be popular among the community.. but that's just my opinion.

I think it would look great polished. I like the way polished cans shine through the mesh and gives a hint that there might be something going on under there!

Your Muffler Tips in the 2nd Picture...

Hi Denk:

In the photograph of the blue car (I am assuming that is a BMW Competition Muffler) there appears to no paint on the inside of the exhaust tips. I ask because one of the tips on mine started peeling paint recently. Did the owner of the blue car strip the inner paint off? if so, how did he do it?
