He's just mad he can't afford it. No other sane reason he would say something like that.

Porsche's are great cars too (I have owned two of them) but they do not offer more bang for the buck - far from it in my opinion. The M3 is a bargain by comparison.
911 Carrera S > E92 M3

You know it. Don't even lie.

You can get two small kids and cargo in a 911 no problem.

An M3 is a $70k version of a $35k car. A Porsche 911 most def isn't.

Get an Audi RS4. That's a four door, four seat version of a $120k car (R8) for $70k.

Hey, each to their own. All good cars. Whatever works for you and makes you feel good.

Yeah, this statement is particularly disturbing...

I believe the R8 is more like $110k and furthermore, suggesting the RS4 is more closely related to the R8 and not the A4 is hilarious and a bad idea to try and justify one's argument.
The OP has no problem comparing the M3 to the 3-series more so than a more expensive option like the M6.
Perhaps the OP was linking the R8 and the RS4 because of the engine, yet the M3 engine is so similar to the M6 engine. However, that wouldn't make his case so well. Thus, he choose the cheaper option to make his argument.

Exposed.

What interior color was it? How much markup are they asking for it?

Just drove the same in Toledo, OH. No mark up here, but somebody bought it last night while it was being unloaded from the truck! It might have been an out of town buyer because there weren't even any miles on the car yet. They let me drive it around the block, but not on the freeway

Wow, what wacky logic. I hope your job does not require thinking to make a living.
