I have a 11 e90 m3 and recently visited the MB dealer to peek at a c63.. WOW IMO the c63 has an incredible & superior interior, sound, & power!
Sure it may not be as cut out for the track as my M3 but hell I've had my m3 for almost a year and not once have I gone to a track. I would go for it |

I'm waiting on the next gen C63. If it has a DCT, you can bet I will be making the jump. An M3 with electric steering just isn't an M car.

good god that CLS was OUT!.
I have to get my hands on that car one day as well. First is the 6.2L c63 though. The inside of the CLS is amazing, it's curved roof is gives you a certain feel, can't reallt describe it. If you've been in one, you know what i'm talking about |

What's interesting is that the new CLS 63 AMG & the 4.2 R8 (Clearly the one in the video because the 5.2 has way better numbers) have the same exact 0-60 times of 4.4 sec (According to the specs on both websites)... How the hell did the CLS pull away so easily?! Wonder what exactly contributed to it doing so... maybe more torque? better tranny?
Impressive either way!

It is the V10. The CLS was modded which is why it shot away like a rocket!
Found the below on mbworld. Looks like you can get some serious power out of them. http://m.mbworld.org/forums/showthre...03#post5345403 Last edited by BMoney; 09-04-2012 at 07:58 PM.. |

Still, that's pretty amazing. Trap speeds over 120 MPH from a stock (and weighty) luxury car - with EPA ratings of 16/25? Sheesh. Bruce |

Just saw a C63 Coupe Black Series at the US Open in NYC the other day. Mercedes has a display of cars in the plaza at the base of Arthur Ashe Stadium. I saw it from the third floor balcony up in the stadium and had to go down for a closer look. Very striking car! As good as it looks in pictures, it's even better in person. I would have taken a cellphone pic, but it was dark out (1:00 am during the rain-delayed men's match). If I recall, this one did NOT have a big rear wing and it looked the better for it!
Check it out if you're going to the Open this week.

They said they were working on making it a 10 second car by fall. Thats a crazy number even for a ferrari/lambo, let alone a big ass 4dr sedan. Haven't even seen SuperCharged M3's put out those kind of #'s AMG is sure as hell giving us a thing or two to consider! the new M3/4 better come correct next year! Or some of us may just be jumping on the AMG band wagon!!!!up!

AMG is definitely giving us M owners much to consider. I'm now thinking that I need to wait for the new Gen C63 before just pulling the trigger on the new M3/M4. |

According to this article, the next gen C63 may just be getting that 5.5 TT!!! Can you imagine how insane it'll be to just get bigger turbo's on it which im assuming costs a lot less than an SC on an M3?
