My new 2012 JZB/FR M3...with some additions
Just picked up my 2012 M3 at the beginning of the week. Loving every second of it. Drove the stock car around for a day, and then I got my new iND cosmetic package, TE37SLs (diamond black from vivid racing) w/ ContiDWS (my fall/winter/early spring setup), and tint (35%) installed.
I kind of went out on a limb and got the side grill painted to match the TE37SL decal. I was a little worried it'd be over the top, but, after seeing it on, I am really happy with the look. The wheel fitment is nice and aggressive as well. I need all the clearance I can get driving around narrow streets in Philly...so no drop in the works. I'll probably put the PS2s back on once it warms back up in April/May. Anyway, here are some pics documenting the cars first couple days in my hands..including Cliff Lee's (Philly's pitcher) B7 Alpina that was parked next to mine on delivery. I'll take some more high quality pics once I get a chance and have her cleaned up (it's been raining a lot here the past couple days). Last edited by CardSurge; 11-17-2011 at 11:54 AM.. |

I like that! I am usually not a fan of those rims but with that decal and your side gill painted to match it looks really really good! Not to mention that it matches your interior. I would have done things exactly the same! Good job!

Thanks guys! It's amazing to ride, and it's already been turning a lot of heads.
For perspective, I am coming from a 1999 Pontiac w/ no A/C and unknown mileage (bought it while I was a poor undergrad and the odometer is broken)...so it's a really nice change and validation of a lot of hard work. The wheels are 18's (18x9.5+22, 18x10.5+20). I used 265/35/18 in front and 295/35/18 in the back. |

More pics required. Use photobucket to post the pics on here-its compresses them in a much better format. Fellow Philadelphian here as well :-) |

Congrats!!
Looks like you got some Imola Red shoes, I would recommend some Fox Red shoes. They are more muted.

Unfortunately I was on call the same night that I picked up the car. My first drive in the car was from the dealer to the hospital . The shoes prevent the inevitable blood-soaked socks and footpain after 14hrs of standing. And now they match my side gills !
