Why? because they can crash? Any car can crash if you push it to hard.

Sucks for the owner of that car, pretty helpless situation, although, I think he lifted throttle in the turn in panic once he saw the other cars, had he completed the turn and slammed the brakes, maybe he would have stopped.

Looks like that is exactly what happened. Sadly, human nature at fault here. You see something totally unexpected like this, you have a knee-jerk reaction. I'm sure there are a lot of professional racers that would have done the exact same thing.

Having been to the Ring...you don't see many corner workers. There was an incident with a NSX and a 3 series on one of my laps and very little warning was given to us before we approached the accident at over 160KM.

Worth every risk though!!!!!
