but i met my ex at my uncles wedding...couldnt stop thinking about her but then she transferred into my school a week later and we started going out...she turned out to be a bitch though so i left her...didnt think it would end so soon but thats life, and it was a while ago...havent really been looking for a relationship till now...so yeah, where did you meet your girlfriend, wife, or ex?

If you have a career, work is a bad spot... If it goes bad, you have to see her every damn day and she could pull a bitch move and get HR involved in some crap. And if it is good and does work out, you still have to see her every day, and I dunno about you I need my space.

I actually met a girl, don't laugh, in World of Warcraft. She was a cutie for a WOW player.. But it got weird..

You can meet women just about any where. If you're in school then use that. You can also meet them through mutual friends. Church and community services/events are great places to meet women because if you're both there, chances are good that you already have some things in common. Also, if you're taking leisure classes such as social dancing or karate, etc. you could also meet someone there.

Girls that play video games are fun to chill with, but dating them is a different story.. No doubt it gets old fast.

Both of the g/f's I have had approached me.. One in the High School, and another while I was at my friends house. First g/f when I was a Junior..

I was really shy and hardly ever talked up until a few months ago.

A lot of my friends seem to have luck with local shows(at venues or some place small).. There are a lot of attractive girls wandering around by themselves at the college, so I guess it would be easy to talk to them then. I seem to see a lot of girls I think are attractive when they are working.. Currently attempting to hang out with this girl that works at the Blockbuster down the street..
First attempt ever approaching a girl.. lemme run down the scenario for you because I want to get it out there..

I saw her working there probably 2 months ago, then again about a week ago.. Told a couple of my friends about her, one of which works at a different blockbuster.. turned out he knew who she was, learned her name and thats about it.. Other friend that is a girl is friends with her brother.. learned a little more about her..
Me and 3 of my friends just got back from Houston and decided to go see the premier of Cloverfield, and we decide to stop by Blockbuster to invite her.. Luckily she was there(perhaps unluckily), and we all walk in.. We walk around for a while and my friend rents a game, and I pretty much pussy out.. -___-
On the way to the car they are all saying stuff a long the lines of "I was about to ask her for her number if you didn't do it." "Pusssayyy." "Failed." Then my friend Louis says.. "I bet if you went back in there, you would be like this.." then he makes some dumb face and goes "BUHHHHHH..". So that gets me fired up, I tell him to fuck off and go back in there guns a blazing, and she effing has someone at the counter.. I stand there waiting, and I can literally feel my heartbeat speed up faster than it ever has(I'm not cut out for this sort of thing).. I'm standing there nervous as hell for about 2 mins, and then they finally leave.. I walk up to the counter and here is how it went down..
"Do you get off before twelve tonight??"
"Actually, I do. why??"
"Would you want to go see the midnight showing of cloverfield??"
"What??" (I effing said it so fast she could barely understand.. omg..)
"Would you want to go see cloverfield with us tonight??"
"uhh.. I don't think my boyfriend would be too happy about that."
"alright" (I take a step towards the door and then WTF DO I DO!?!?)
I say.. "Thanks" as if she had helped me find a movie or something..

I just blurted it out without even thinking, and then right after I said it I thought to myself.. WTFFF, WHY DID I JUST SAY THANKS.. I felt like an idiot..

I walk outside and to the car, still shaking and everything because I was so nervous.. -___-
Long story short she does actually have a boyfriend, and I think I will still try to hang out with her.

I'm slowly getting over my fear of approaching women.
