Oh Hai rave. I see you posted pics in this thread. I would still go with a lightly used GT3 over the E92 M3 and definitely wouldn't worry about what might or might not hold value among enthusiasts. This car definitely won't appreciate in 5 years.

So as soon as a forum member picks one of these up in Red, we should be getting pics here.

Have a feeling an Imola, MT, 2013 E92 M3 ZCP coupe with CF roof will hold its value pretty well among M enthusiast
I coincidentally saw one in person. I couldn't believe it either.

My salesman has a regular client that upgrades essentially every year. (He's got $$$)

He ordered and got a 2011 Imola Red E92 M3 with Platinum interior. (Btw, the year before, he had a Laguna Seca E92 M3)

It was beautiful.

However, I think colors can look different on different body styles. At least for me.

I've seen and drooled over Imola Red E46 M3s..... but the color did not look the same on the E92 body style (at least not for me). It was not as deep and rich as I thought it would be. My husband instinctively said the same thing out loud when we were both looking at the car, so it wasn't just me.

I wonder if the reformulation of the paint changed the color somewhat? A can't believe it wouldn't look as good as it looked on the E46, E39, etc.

I haven't heard anything regarding this neither has Ryan yet. As far as indiv goes IMO the 5k is worth it to get a color that isn't seen a lot. Imola is really nice but I really am feeling Hellrot

Hacked account

I'm all in the air dude. I keep telling myself I what I really want, but I'm just not sure if its worth it over a good ole preowned MR.

Imola was available as late as 2008 on Z4M. One of the best reds BMW has had in my opinion. Strangely enough, I don't like it on the E46, looks a little flat.
