Making Carbon fiber parts
Hi everyone I’m looking into making my own carbon fiber parts. I know it will be hard to get the hang of and I know there will be many different options of molds, carbon fiber sheets and resin however I still want to try it out. I first need some ideas that would easy to make (ex. simple shapes) but eventually I would like to make rear diffusers and front lips. So what I am asking is what would be desirable and easy part to start off with.
If you have any other information on the process like ~weave pattern (1x1,2x2) ~mold kits ~rough cost estimates ~possible issues ~Suggestions of materials to use please let me know Thanks in advance.

It's gonna end up being a ton of money on your part. Most people I've seen doing DIYs generally just overlay stock parts with cf. Making actual parts will end up being too costly more than likely.
