That's a reassuring aspect for sure, but still doesn't do it for me. Once again no offense to Lexus owners. Just my opinion

Yea that's my only gripe.. If all of them came with a manual option it'd be even more difficult to decide.

I just can't wait to see who or what starts showing up at the track. That's the real test...

Well it remains to be seen if ///M can dominate the class as it has for the last 4 generations. Not crazy about the exterior if it ends up being over styled as depicted, but the power train - albeit with out a manual option - may prove to be interesting.

I can think of a few cars I'd rather have at the "little north of $100K" price point. GT-R comes to mind. This RC-F can't cost this much if it really wants to be relevant.
Some ppl on here have m3s that are nearly 100k.

Car looks pretty cool, BUT if that 8 speed trans has anything in common with the previous IS-f trans its going to ruin the whole car as it has a Torque converter(type) instead of an actual dual clutch, clutch.
Although Lexus claimed there trans shifts F1 fast every review ive ever read when i was thinkn about buying an IS-f said the trans wasn't up to pair.

The IS F's 8-speed (now in the IS 350 F Sport too) is a fantastic trans. It locks the torque converter in 2nd gear and above and the shifts are VERY fast. I drove several IS Fs, including on the track, and if you hadn't told me it was a torque converter, I would've thought it was a dual-clutch.

Have to agree with car_fan, regarding styling the rear, and side views are fine it's front end just bit to much for my taste had they toned it down bit made spindle grill smaller just tad more refined IMO would made it nicer. I guess there going for shock and awe approach all of those years being so conservative and now they loosed up bit and they going hog wild design wise lol they settled down over time design wise but you have to give it to they have people talking about car some good some bad but its like they say in show business no such thing as bad press

Right now trend seems here to stay regarding no manual trans, in Europe, and Asia this has been norm for sometime now only in US is there still demand for manual and that to is quickly declining, if you look at actual number manuals being order in all car segments you'll see numbers shrinking every year. Just look at M3 how many more DCT trans do they sell over manual trans but yet so many people criticize IS-F and now RC-F for not offering Manuel when reality is that most of people that buy these type of car opt for auto trans, DCT, PDK etc. with fewer and fewer people each year actually ordering car with manual trans so from business sense I get as enthusiast it suck.

Here commercial there running for RC coupe in Korea,
