Fire Orange M3 Sedan at Center BMW

Just left Center BMW in Sherman Oaks. They have 2 very unique M\'s I am considering. A 2011 Fire Orange Sedan and a 2012 Moonstone Coupe. I can\'t decide which one to grab. I do not favor one body style over the other as I have had both a 2008 M3 Sedan and a 2011 M3 Coupe. The GM who helped me Raul was very cool. I guess the worse case scenario is I flip a coin.

Moonstone coupe..assuming it has a carbon roof, zcp, and nicely loaded..I would be all over that. VERY rare color.

There are two that I know of on these forums. One in Canada, and the other in New Zealand. There might be a third one, but I don't remember off-hand.

Even though Moonstone is the rarer of the two colors, I'd go with the FO sedan.

I'd go with Moonstone, assuming the coupe has the CF roof. Moonstone is an awesome color!

Do either cars have any Individual interior colors/options or only the Individual exterior paint colors?

Fire orange definitely. I have a 335i E90 moonstone, and I've been a little disappointed in the color. Sometimes it looks almost white, at other times it has a very warm glow. But most often it just looks like a deluxe version of a Toyota color that's pretty popular over here (not sure what they call it).

So while it's definitely an interesting color, I would not choose it again.

I would vote for the Fire Orange for color, but I prefer the coupe with the M.

Does Moonstone not photograph well? From the pictures, the color looks like a slightly less metalic silver. I am not a huge fan of silver, but with a CF roof and the non-ZCP 19s or gunmetal / black ZCP wheels, I think the color would look much better.

it depends how long you want to keep it. The moonstone is "classier" so will probably look good for years to come and have a better resale. The Fire Orange is loud, obnoxious and cool, but you may not want to drive clients or inlaws around in it and it may be hard to sell (difficult to find just the right buyer).
