I didn't have to do this with my M3 as it had no lag but with my turbo 911 it has some lag and so I have to get on the gas a little before the marker in order to begin accelerating at the marker.

If you are leaving with a full tank you probably will have too much gas when you arrive. Im leaving with around half a tank from 30 miles south of you and should arrive around empty and then do a couple gallons of 100 octane out of the pump inside the Willow Springs facility.
Thanks man. I had a blast. I did end up having too much gas in the car, but i found a sweet spot at 40mph roll in 2nd gear. Car was trapping 143 mph.
Dynoed at 640 whp.

Need a little help and maybe one of you can help me. Got a slight bump into my rear end and left some scratches on the bumper by a 997 turbo, dark gray. We were supposed to exchange the info after the run, but I couldnt find him. All I have is his license plate number.

Good to see you bro. Yeah you needed to mix in some 100 octane.

The Density Altitude was horrible for the M3's. I'm pretty sure a stg 2 M3 and my 911 would be a close race on a cool evening at sea level...but at high altitude on a warm day, it just kills power for you guys.

I heard about this. Bummer. There were a lot of 911s and they were all silver/grey/black in color. What did the guy look like?

Good points, the two Stage 2 M3's that were there got beat pretty bad by cars they normally should run with or edge out.

Here's my favorite run, we all know what Built Z06's can do! Such a sick car and sounds unreal. I got the hit, so it would have been closer otherwise -

I am looking through my go pro videos. I believe he had a beard and was wearing a half face helmet.
Wife recorded some runs and I am posting vids here:

It appears to be a silver 997 with a black trunk. Is that right? Cant see the owner's face from the pic. Any other pictures or vids from the side? All of the Porsches had diff wheels so that would help.

The DA killed you brother, at Sea level Stage 2 M3's trap about the same as Adam's Turbo S, but that's how it is, his car really shined, and 91 is a no no at events! Adam is worse than me at jumping people, lol.
