Front: 380x 35 ST60 Rear: 355x 32 st 40 Type: Slotted Stop Tech big brake kit for E9X 2008+. ST60 380mm front rotors, ST40 355 rear rotors. This setup has about 5000 miles on the calipers and about 1500 on the rotors. Just removed this kit from the car. Recently replaced front and rear rotors less than 1500 miles ago. Come with 90% life stop tech race pads. Everything included for install. I also have a set of stop tech braided lines front/rear as well and would include those to the lucky buyer if the price is right. All hardware and everything needed for install, except brake fluid. *Special offer* If I get full asking price I will throw in a set of 95% life remaining Hawk Blue pads as well and a 30-40% set of performance friction 01 race pads too. That is 3 sets of brake pads. Thats almost a $800 worth of pads!!!!!! I will sell the pads separately as well too. I am asking $4200 as I paid almost $6200 new from Turner about a year ago. This is an awesome set up and you will surely love not have brake fade when driving your car hard. Price drop, $3800+ shipping!!! Last edited by njmarro; 04-11-2013 at 07:49 PM.. Reason: SOLD |

Rotor hats are different color because of heat, these cars are quite heavy and produce a lot of heat when braking, hence why I opted for the st60's on the fronts. I have never had any brake fade with this setup. I usually track my car 6-7 times per year. The rotors rings were all replaced less than 1500 miles ago. I can usually get one to two seasons on rotors unless i run Millers full course in Salt lake several times which speeds will hit 155-160 on the almost mile straight and then they last about one season. These rotors have only been tracked once since replaced and not at Miller motorsports track. Last edited by njmarro; 04-07-2013 at 10:59 PM.. |

Rotors will last much longer though, these had around 5k miles on them and they also were used for daily driving as well. I probably could have left them on there, but they were starting to get some heat stress cracks which probably been ok to run on the street for awhile, but on track would not be wise. That is what makes this kit nice as you can just replace the rotor rings when they are worn out and the pads just drop in from the top, so you dont have to remove the entire caliper to change pads. Complete pad change takes less then 20mins. The bad part about the E90 is its just a heavy car and it takes a lot of energy to slow it down, so that makes pads wear faster than other cars. I have friends that are running stripped out Porsches that weigh around 2400 lbs and they can make their pads and rotors last much longer, but I also used my car as a daily driver and stripping it was not an option. Unfortunately that is the cost of going fast!! |
