Thumbs up 2009 E92 M3 LeMans Blue / Speed Cloth / Single Hump / CF Roof / 6MT

It is just about as base as they come. I had to have the Metallic Paint and the Carbon Leather trim though. I took delivery of it at the PC on Monday, and here are the pics. I hope to add some more this weekend after a good wash when I can control the light and get some better shots of the amazing paint and interior. If anyone wants any pictures of anything in particular, just let me know. Comments and questions are always welcome.

Congrats! It looks so much like IB. Any chance you can take some pics of your car next to an IB M3?

I haven't seen a single IB E92 M3 anywhere around. I have seen an E46 M3 a couple times. If either dealership gets one I definitely will make that happen.

+1 I'm a nub, I can't tell the difference. . .in terms of one being darker, or lighter, which is which?

I can't tell the difference either.

EDIT: I think IB is a darker, deeper blue IMO.

OT, killer sig Playon!

The better question is why not? The majority of the front seats are still leather, and the cloth adds another texture and look. I liked the rareness aspect as well.

Yep Jonathan was great and very knowledgeable about the car. He looks pretty chill in those photos with his hands in his pocket, haha. He realized I was an enthusiast, and that I knew just about as much as him so he showed me things that might not have known or that differed from my E46 M3. We got done with delivery in under 30 minutes thanks to know iDrive or BMW Assist. I took the long way since I went back towards the Atlantic to meet some family off I-95 then took I-95 to I-10 and home. Just under 900 miles in two days. I varied my speeds quite a bit and tried to break her in properly.

Congrats on the speed cloth. I didn't think I was going to like it until I saw it in person. There's a lot of leather still in the interior and the cloth is nice, the texture is much better than the texture of the M cloth that was in the E46. I'm glad I got it.

Damn the speed cloth looks great. Best cloth seats on the planet.

What would be even better, custom black alcantara inserts where the cloth is.

Very nice, congrats! I can't tell the difference between Le Mans and Interlagos though. I'm a fan of the double hump, just my opinion and I don't know about the speed cloth either, but I do know that you're gonna love your new car.

Looks amazing! - Love the single hump as well. I'd love to see/feel speed cloth in person.

Here is a thread comparing IB and LeMans Blue thanks to Remmib. Looks like LeMans is a bit darker and not as purply.
