Battery Charger... HELP fellow socal member..

Hey guys... I was wondering if anyone have a battery charger.

My battery is giving me a battery decreased light and was planning on replacing the battery this weekend, but with my work schedule 5-7pm... by the time i get off every dealer is close..

I would like to try to charge it and hoping it will give me until this weekend. I was hoping if someone can let me borrow? i went to sears yesterday but they are currently out. im not sure if the battery will last till this weekend.

THank you..

Go to Pep Boys. They carry the Battery Tender brand which is a great quality charger. Pick one up.

Have you looked into a track oriented, light weight battery? I think it's only a few more dollars compared to the OEM and EAS sells it. I'm almost certain if you buy it there they'll discount the coding.

Yes the only issues or so far ive read is that they dont last long...

My second problem i live in a condo... and garage outlet is not an option.. so trickle charge or battery tender does not work...

I was going to drop the car off to a friends house tonight if i can get a hold of a charger.

I drive 7 miles one way and gets me there pretty quick so most are quick short trip... and getting a lower lighter CA and amps might just go dead in less than a year...

hope someone can chime in more for those who are using lighter and smaller battery...

These should be limited to track use only.

They make solar chargers you could try if the car is there during the daytime.

Our cigarette lighter is not powered after the car is turned off. My understanding is no power out = no power in.

Battery Tender Portable Power Source?

Hi - I have the same problem. Live in a condo with no outlet for a battery tender. What are peoples thoughts on buying a portable jump starting / charging station of some sort with an outlet on it. Then plugging the battery tender into that, connecting it all to the battery and closing it all in the trunk. I'm thinking I could just take the charging station inside and plug it in as needed. Feedback appreciated. Thanks!

The portable units are not for charging the car, only starting. They do not regulate like a tender will.

Agreed. But my question was about using a portable power source to power the battery tender, which will then be charging the battery.

Thanks. I was hoping to at least get some feedback on who makes the best deep cycle portable power station. If anyone with experience or knowledge on whether or not this idea is a good solution would share their insight I'd appreciate it.

I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with. I don't know that I've ever seen a deep cycle specific one.
