One of biggest benefits living here in the US is exercising opportunity of using credit. If you learn to be responsible and pay your bills, then you can pretty much have anything you want in this country regardless of age. I just turned 29 and walked right into BMW and ordered an m3 exactly the way I wanted it. Some might call it foolish, I on the other hand would do it over again in a heart beat. Instead of going out and dropping 100 bucks a night at the club, I'd rather stay home and have a sick car sitting in the driveway.

I know, right? Isn't part of the reason to get the car attracting targets for said loads? In college you have maximum target saturation and are too drunk and high to drive a golf cart, much less an M. Ah, I miss higher education.

I bought mine 2 months after I turned 20, got a great deal trading in my W210 E55 AMG for it. Also in the Navy for 4 years, 1 month, and 14 days, but whose counting?

She is, but you need to bring a lot to the table...the guy you have to push out of the way has a 8 figure bank account.

Its good to see that having a 8 figure bank account appears to mean that much to her. You must have raised her well since we all know that money always equals happiness.

I used to run with a crew that consisted of Michael De Santa, Trevor Phillips, and Franklin. We pulled a Heist on the Union Depository and are now loaded.

i hate it when people suggest that financial security has nothing to do with a successful relationship.

the ability to provide for your current or future family is one of the most important things a man can bring to the table. Always has been, always will be.

Really? What measure are you using to determine how much money means in her conception of true wealth?

You're bringing your own biases to the table (and perhaps lack of achievement). She's in her twenties and is the Chief Operating Officer of a $40 billion company. You would want to have a relationship with someone at least as accomplished as you are, wouldn't you?

She's wildly happy BTW, with a life balanced between work, play and mentoring others.

Too funny! People always pull the judgment card when anyone mentions money. As if its a disease to have some money/security. Granted money doesn't buy you health and happiness, but it pays the bills so you have one less thing to worry about.

So I am old now, but when I was 26 I purchased my first brand new E46 M3 when I was in graduate school using loan money. The single most irresponsible decision I ever made, but yet the best thing that ever happened to me professionally. In order to justify my poor decision to buy the M (because obviously it was a poor decision and I was in denial), I worked my butt off to pay back the loan and became a successful professional in the process. I don't recommend that road, but I don't regret it either.
