8 Piston BBK

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ksport-Super...bc8404&vxp=mtr

Was looking for BBK, and came across this one here,
It has a 400mm rotor, and 8 Piston Caliper
Does it fit into the stock 19 inch 220M wheel?
Is 8 piston a lot better than 6 piston?
This gigantic thing looks very cool and unique.

Garage List
I would stick with Brembo, Stoptech, Alcon, AP. I believe that the KSport stuff is Chinese.

I would HIGHLY advise to stay away from KSport anything...made in China with very poor quality control, especially for brakes. Can you imagine them failing on a straightaway? ouch

I echo the comments above. Brakes are not really complex but are probably the most important safety feature on your car. In addition I can almost guarantee 400mm rotors will not fit 19" wheels, let along 18". My Brembo 380mm rotors actually have some slight intermittent scraping on my wheels.

An 8 piston caliper is overkill, but at the same time great! A 6 piston 380mm is what your looking for with a 19" wheel. Check out our Forge BBK's:

Great pricing on them too!

+1 - brakes are one area where you should NEVER "go cheap"!

Also, adding an 8-p caliper with 400 mm rotors will most likely significantly increase the front unsprung weight - something you don't want!

Stick with Brembo, AP, Alcon, PFC or ST if you actually need a BBK...

The only reason to run an 8 piston bbk is to show off to people that don't know anything about brakes. The 6 piston stoptech and (4 I think) piston PFC rock. Stay far away from no name brakes.

Don't be piston counter - just get a properly engineered kit from the proven names you know. Besides, you'll just feel inadequate when the 12 piston kit is released.

Swamp2 - how do you get intermittent rotor to wheel scraping? Your calipers would scrub way before your rotors.
