^^ That's not as funny as the fact that you can't tell the difference between an M5 and an M3, and you belong in a BMW forum. Now that's pathetic. Stop pretending that you know anything about BMW, you're just a BMW poser. BTW, It's not that you can't tell the difference between the Camry and the IS300, it's the fact that you don't know anything about them and the fact that they're completely different cars, yet you make a statement and you actually thought and believed that you knew what you where talking about and you got caught. But you're not man enough to admit it and you're trying to play it off that you can't tell the difference, you ARE A LOSER.

yes last place is still last:

1st Place
BMW M3
Speed, balance, and athleticism converge in today's best compact, high-performance sport sedan.

2nd Place
MERCEDES-BENZ C63 AMG
A solid, emotive machine that works as everyday transport-and accelerates like a first-gen Viper.

3rd Place
LEXUS IS F
Lexus's first effort in this category is a good one, lacking in only the finest of details.

Sayemthree, It is understood that the M3 owns the ISF for that matter what is discussed here is your lack of knowledge and disrespect for members of this forum. Who cares what cars forum members own it's great you own many BMW's so does my family and soon I will have an m3 on hand but that's besides the point I own an Lexus right now. I actually moved past your ignorance but you keep on asking for more. Obviously from the last posts of your lack of knowledge for BMW and cars you own there is really no argument in your favor. Four plus pages of people calling you out is enough said.

Everyone, i apologize for being part of thrashing this thread. I am guilty as sayemthree because i keep feeding his ignorance by responding to his stupidity. That being said i will stop and move on and hopefully to stay on topic. So back on topic, obviously the M3 so far has stomped on the competition when it comes to a track course. But i still think when it comes to drag racing or on a roll, it will depend a lot on the driver. Given the same driver or driver skills, the M3 will probably win most if not all the time.

Gbb357, good man! As we saw on the 5 lap race at Tsukuba it did come down to the driver. The m3 came from 4th to win but arguably had the best driver. The ISF did hold strong but with a better driver could have given the m3 more of a race. Honestly the ISF may not be the challenge to the m3 however the new audi rs4 and rs5 are going to be amazing.

Bro, the new RS4 and RS5 are going to be a beast. I just hope they keep the weight down a little bit, although it'll be hard to do that with AWD.

I enjoyed reading the posts, it was very informative for a non-Lexus owner as myself. I feel in the coming months there will be alot of excitement from the competitions. We'll see more of these debates being squared away on Youtubes. There maybe even challenged ahead from a chipped-335i boosting 400tq ( or whatever it is nowadays )

Im sure it is, but saw a used RS4 at Tysons the other week, and I dont know if Im willing to spend 65k for a used one, when for about the same you can get yourself a new M. Pretty good value, now come to think of it.

I would'nt spend $65k on a used RS4, i'd would rather wait for the new one that should be much better than the previous one. Rumor has it that it might have twin turbos and might probably have at least 450hp.

ok - I apologize too.

In my zest to defend the M3, I hastily and without thinking shot back. I can admit when I am wrong.
Lexus builds a great car. but with their first try they have not yet surpassed the M3.

well, shall folks wait then for the Force-Induction M3 proposed by BMW.
dejavu... seems like its happening again, 3 years ago when us first e90 owner got our cars, we were dishearten by the news that 335 TT was going to come out. There were alot irrate 330i owners then realizing they are now have to step down the rank.

OMG, I better hold awhile then...
Someone tell me its not true and not going to happen, pls tell me pls

I was rtying to be polite, specially since the CA was a cutie, I was trying to be on the phone for as long as I could just to flirt with her

actually another hurdle is CF roof or sunroof ?
.... but no waiting for the car since one Jerez blk is available (someone canx)

Good boy. There wasn't really any reason to defend the M3 in the first place because nobody, not one person said anything bad about the M3 at all. And to be a fan of a brand, does not mean you have to bash other brands. Many BMW fans and owners drives other brand name cars, like myself and BMCPOWER just to name a few.

P.S. No other car has surpassed the M3 yet, let alone the ISF or Lexus at it's first try.

group hug!?!?! LOL!

hey I drive other cars too.... owned an Audi S4 Avant (6MT of course) and currently have a VW GTI.

BTW my CA let me take out a RS4 demo for about a 20 min spirited drive. VERY VERY nice, fast car, very nuetral and remained very flat in the corners. I huge step above the s4. Also test drove a S5. very very nice. but I remain loyal to BMW.

How about the Z06?

Seriously though, it's really funny how we argue over a few tenths of a second or top speeds exceeding 150mph. Most of us will never utilize these cars to their full potential. I have a GTI as my daily driver and, honestly, it is almost more fun to drive than my e46. I also have a '78 Trans-Am and THAT is what I take to the fancy restaurants!

All these cars are amazing feats of engineering. The ISF, the M3, S5, C36, etc, etc... BMW is the target, but it has become such a close race (IMO) that the differences are almost negligible and one should choose based on personal preferences.

Saving 9k is a BIG DEAL to many people. Having a BMW badge likewise may be.

So to each their own. Both awesome cars.
