Bimmerfest show in California will be held on May 22, 2010...

The 11th annual Bimmerfest show in California will be held on May 22, 2010 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.

I enjoyed driving down to SB every year.. Seems like Bimmerfest is dropping the ball.

I'll still go out, it's nice to see new faces.. Anyone else going? If so from where are you traveling from?

Yeah, I just read that, too.

I'm pretty well confirmed to be there. Convoy of four cars, coming from Saskatchewan, Canada. (about 1400 miles

)(coughcoughcoughlaserjammerradardetecto rcoughcoughcough

)

I think it will still be a great event. I'm thinking it's not about the venue, but the content! (Never been to Santa Barbara, but I'm sure the 'fest will be a great time!!!)

We're going to combine this with a boys' trip into Mexico, for a few days. Total time off, maybe ten days.....

LOVE IT!!!!

I thought it was sponsored mainly by the dealership there?

heard we effed up the track and the following weeks one of their horses got injured so they put the blame on us and jacked upp the prices

That's too bad. I mean Pasadena and the Rose Bowl is cool, but I got to imagine that less people will go now.

I am still in for sure though, only 30 mins or so from my house.

Bummer. SB would be a great excuse to take Hwy 1 south from Monterey for NorCal types like myself.

We'll see - might combine with a trip to Santa Anita as the wife and I are heavy into horse racing.

For those of you who have been to a few of these Bimmerfests, what are the highlights?

Driving out to SB was nice but come on, the Rose Bowl isn't that bad! You can drive out to SB and have a good time any day you'd like. Pasadena's got a lot going on around that area and it's nearby for most of the SoCal people.

Big let down.

They better find a new location next year or they will quickly lose interest in the event.

Much rather spend the day watching the E92 M3 GT2 rip around Laguna Seca.
