OEM X-pipe Question

Hello everyone, i was looking into putting on a challenge street x-pipe, but my main concern is if i were to cut my primary cat, then use the clams provided by challenge to do the install, then later re weld my primary cats, will Bmw notice this when the car is returned???????

If they lift it up an inspect the undercarriage, they most likely will. Buying a OEM used x-pipe to replace the cut for ~$350 is probably a better option than taking the chance.
