Well do you honestly believe that a hole in the bottom of the bumper is a scoop for the intake box 2ft above it?

I would say an air duct and air scoop are two different gremlins unless the duct on the bumper has a way of leading air directly and uninterrupted to the air box.

What hose are you guys talking about? The M3 has TWO PCV valves, but they have no hoses; they connect directly to the plenum. There's one PCV valve on each valve cover, towards the rear of the engine. Pics please.

Not at my car so cannot provide pics but there is a PCV related tube that runs alongside the left side of your engine and plugs directly into the intake charge pipe (both the OEM and MS charge pipes).

doesn't it???? it's a direct shot to air box, working exactly the same as scoops these companies are selling. it's even facing directly in front of you for incoming air as you go forward, just as scoops supposedly do.

hmmmm..... ok I guess you can call it duct. I'm still going to call it a scoop.

It may indeed do that but I think the scoops that are being sold are direct funnels to and attach directly onto the intake tract.
