Paddle shifters from F8x: Retrofit to E9x?

While some are better than others, all of the aftermarket paddles for the E9x leave a little something to be desired. (I have tried several.)

This is leading me to wonder if the paddle shifters on the F8x can be retrofitted on the E9x, which are vastly superior IMO to the OEM ones on the E9x.

Has anyone done this? If so, please let me know how it worked. Thanks!

Why not just do a 6MT swap? Paddles are for ping pong.
