ESS Tuning is coming to Atlanta

AJ from ESS tuning is coming to Atlanta on either the 2nd or 3rd week of October to load the DCT software on my M3. This would be a great opportunity for other M3 owners to get the ESS performance software or DCT software while he is in the Atlanta area. AJ will be able to load the software through the OBDII port and will be offering it at a discounted price.

At this time I'm only trying to get an idea of how many people would be interested. Once that is established ESS will be able to provide a date and cost.

ESS Normal Aspiration optimized ECU software is a result of 100's of dyno runs and exact calibration of all parameters to allow maximum performance gains with improved drivability/fuel consumption and stock engine longevity.

Features :

-Optional 8500 RPM limit
-Removed top speed governor
-Reprogrammed torque management
-Reprogrammed throttle response
-Reprogrammed ignition, vanos and fuel parameters for optimum performance

The software is compatible with performance cat-back exhaust systems.

Software available for both US and European specification cars.

Typical performance increase is +15hp and 10ft/lbs of torque with software alone on quality 91US/95 Euro octane fuel.

When you order this product, you will receive information on how to remove your ECU for shipment to a ESS reprogramming center near you.

Catless and high flow cat software is for off road use only.

Application intended for: E90 M3, E91 M3, E92 M3 from 2008 2009 2010 2011

We are currently trying to figure out a date and I hope to have an idea by Monday. Right now we are looking into a trip maybe around the 15th.

We will be able to tune NA and DCT software during our visit.

ESS has no plans for future trips at this time.

We had a great tuning session at my shop over the weekend! Roman was on a tight schedule to catch a flight back later that evening, so I did not get a chance to take any photos.

I got the ESS DCT software, Stalker and CantDrv55 got the ESS Akrapovic tune, and another local enthusist got an ESS tune for both his BMW X5M and Audi R8 V10.

Thanks goes to Stalker for picking up Roman at the airport!
