should I install SWS with EPS?

I had harmon kardon logic 7 with SWS 8 installed with Alpine PDFX 4 on E90. When I retrofitted it back to stock. I could hear the mids more clear and not as boomy. Now I have an E92 with EPS. How would the sound differ from my previous HK L7?

OEM subs are pretty good

Get a nice corner mount sub
I had the EPS system in my last E92 M3
Added a JL XD600/1 with a wicked CAS corner mount 10" JL sub
Sounded amazing
Ran a low pass on the sub amp, I think it was 60hz
So it just adds what the OEM system can't reproduce
This also means you don't need to boost the bass frequencies, so the OEM subs don't distort
Enclosure is around $300
So is the amp
Sub is around 175 I think

Thanks, I understand what you mean. Where did you purchase the corner sub? is it prebuilt by one of our vendors? I purchased my SWS by technic or VP I think.

I just ordered a corner enclosure setup from Musicar NW/VP. Its gonna come loaded with a 12" Morel Ultimo SC and the Amp will be preset.

Musicar one was too much for me
and before someone says you own a $70K car etc, that doesn't mean I'm willing to spend 2-3 times what I can pay for a similar product

Offer $300
Get a JL 10W3V3 and you're good to go
I recommend the JLXD600/1
Fits underneath the trunk floor, on the far left
Doesn't get hot
