cheapest carrier to ship wheels and tires?

was wondering if anyone knows what the cheapest carrier for sending out my wheels. i've usually had better luck with fedex ground since ups seems to keep jacking up their rates, but no idea on the heavier stuff. thanks

I actually sent my last set of wheels using the standard post office. By far the cheapest. Get insurance though.

UPS is crazy unless you have an account with them.

Fedex charged me around $200 (including insurance) to ship 4 wheels and tires from MN to NY.

does anyone know about just tires? plans have changed and now gonna probably just ship the tires. I was reading basically twine them together in pairs, but that seems risky considering how they handle things. anyone have any experience

DB Schenker is usually the cheapest but I believe you need to have an account with them.

Really? Domestic too? Better than the rates having an account with UPS?

United States Postal Service is the cheapest way to ship wheels and tires.
