the V710s have always looked so great to me. I thought I made up my mind with the AG ZCP rep wheels, then you had to post these pictures...
Great choice, the gloss black looks perfect on MR
Not to get off topic, but because I am in the process of researching, how do you like the Hankook V12s? I had them on my 335 and loved them, but have read some mixed reviews on m3post.

Someone else PMd me the same question. I'll take some pics and post them in the next day or two.

So far the Hankooks are great for a street tire. I wanted something that was going to last a little longer than the PS2s. I've still got my ZCPs with my PS2s which I'll use for HPDEs. Once those are done I'll prob put PSS on the ZCPs.

Someone else reviewed the Hankooks not too long ago and I thought the review was spot on. I feel no difference on the freeway in terms of noise etc. They do feel maybe a tad stiffer over small bumps, but it's no big deal. After a few morning commutes ripping around familiar turns I do feel there is a difference in performance, but that's to be expected out of a tire that lasts longer. They don't seem to stick quite as well as the PS2s. Of course this could all be in my head too... I don't pretend to be some superb driver.

I think it's a great alternative tire for the street if you are looking for something that still looks good and will last a bit longer. Plus the price is certainly right. They're about 60% of the PS2 price. For under $1000 a set they are a steal.

I can't tell you how they perform on the track however...

Hello fellow San Diegan. Looks awesome. I'm guessing you took the pics near Encinitas?

Looks good, but why didn't you just powder coat the 359m's instead? They look so similar already.

I considered that and it was my original plan actually, However, the car is a lease and I need to return the wheels as they come. So I decided it was easier to buy new ones and keep the ZCP as a track setup. The VMRs are inexpensive enough that it really didn't make a huge difference honestly.

The v710s in the 11s in the rear have significantly more concave than the ZCPs as well. They are a more aggressive looking wheel for sure.

That makes perfect sense.

Its almost done. You still have a ways to go but car looks good as is.

1) Slam that thing (i.e. get suspension)
2) Take illegal tint off driver and passenger side windows, (California law)
3) Get some different wheels (Subjective)
4) Get front lip

I mean all this in a nice way of course.

Here are some pics of the tint with the vinyl strip. It's hard to get photos of glass, but I tried.

I took one with the flash so that you can see the strip and one without flash so you can see what it actually looks like from outside the car. You honestly can't even see the strip from the outside at all. It blends in perfectly. The last shot is from indide the car with the flash on. You really can't see it unless you get in the back seat and look up there.

Without flash... what it actually looks like

With flash... you can see where the strip is here

With flash from inside rear seat looking up
