Thanks, and yeah, you need to get out there. You're lucky to have such an amazing, world class road so nearby. Be safe and watch for Troopers and bikers...

The need is both perceived and real! It's a great car on so many levels, but based upon your sig you look like you're doing just fine. Enjoy.

We just missed each other

I was on the Dragon from March 29th through April 1st. I actually thought highway 28 or the "moonshiners run" was great also. Greater distance between turns and the ability to build more speed. The parkway through the smoky mountains national park was also great for photo ops.

Sweet... I'll keep that in mind for next time. In my research I'd seen that there were a number of great roads in the area, but I only had time for one, so the Dragon it was.

Like I said, I think I will go back for a couple of days to drive the Dragon again and explore surrounding roads.

Great trip! I have a good friend who lives in Maryville, TN...that place is like a playground with the roads, the park...and only 45 minutes from Dollywood (ha!).

Next time you go, I recommend picking up Benton's Bacon, if you haven't done so before. You can find it in some specialty shops. Best bacon on the planet.

Were the redbuds/dogwoods in bloom yet?

I will do it again next year in my M3
I did it with the wife in her 08 Mini Cooper S/MT. Was a blast. I drove a 1000miles in one day.

I've been on most of the best roads in the US, and the Dragon is by far the best.

It's truly unbelievable. If you're lucky enough to get there on a day with little to no traffic, it's a religious experience.

Thanks. I'll pass on Dollywood but take the bacon! Thanks for the recommendation. I have no idea on the redbuds/dogwoods... sorry.

EASILY the best road I've ever driven, and I've done my share as well.

Was there first thing on a Wednesday morning, and pretty much had it to myself.

The reason there are so many exotic cars in Miami is the place attracts all of the useless rich playboys in the US.

Man you were in my back yard. Next time try to plan your trip to the naples/Bonita area in early feb that's when the big Ferrari show is down on 5th ave. I think there were over 150 this year.
