Driver Wanted for Daytona
Automatic Racing is looking for a paying driver for its E90 M3 in GS class to drive next weekend's Grand-Am 200. Late sponsorship delayed their program this year but now they have one and are working feverishly to get the car done in time. They won the Koni Challenge championship just a couple years ago, so they're for real. Duke it out with Bill, Tommy and Boris. PM me if you're seriously interested and I'll put you in touch. Time's wastin'...
I'm just a friend of the sponsor, trying to help them get this beautiful yellow M3 on track next weekend.

It's a lot - north of $20K - but they're discounting it from the "normal" fee due to the short notice.

Rob Ecklin, a friend of mine from PA, got the job. We'll see how he does against the big boys. Look for the yellow Invisible Glass E90 M3 on Speed Feb 5th at 3 pm.

Sometimes you have to pay upfront if the rewards justify it. Probably not the case with your offer, I'd guess...

Did they even make the race as I do not see them there?

Photos from Daytona
Rob Ecklin got the drive and really stepped it up, for someone who had never been in anything but karts, Skip Barber Series cars and Miatas. He out qualified one of the Turner E90 M3's and stayed ahead of several cars in class at the finish.
