Lip impact on Air Flow

I picked up a front lip, primarily for cosmetic reasons (Challenge). I want to open a discussion regarding the potential impacts on the track.

My initial thought is there would be a slight increase in downforce on the front of the car. Also, more drag. Ultimately, I don't think there will be a substantial impact for track days.

However, I do have one concern. By increasing downforce in the front but doing nothing in the rear am I upsetting the balance? Will the rear now get loose?

The local track has a straight with speeds hitting about 150mph then a sweeping turn at 120-130mph. So I want to be comfortable that the lip isn't going to 'upset' the car.

Thoughts?

not enough to make a difference, you won't really notice it.
plus, it probably doesn't even give any downforce, probably more lift than anything. A proper aero part that creates efficient downforce is very expensive to R&D.

I wouldn't mess with it if you track the car unless you find something that is an exact clone of the GTS lip.

add on lips probably dont affect the downforce at all. The underside would have to be flat and extend into the underpanel and would be much bigger. I wouldn't worry about it
