Do they offer instruction?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I'll be there if they call me to instruct. I've been running my track pads for the last 3 weeks anyways so why not just keep them on

I am not affiliated with TMR but I think it is a pretty good deal for Saturday Infineon. Generally TMR runs track days really nicely with uncrowded run groups. Free car show too: Enough porsches for porsche soup and other exotics like ferraris every time I attended (past 3 years).

This is what it looked like last year:
Looks pretty open. The guy in front had a horrible line.

Man, I should have signed up for Thunderhill today! $150 for 7 sessions is a great deal.

How many sessions should one expect from Infineon? It doesn't state on the TMR site. Based on LY schedule, I assume 5?

Yeah, I agree. The most I've done is 5. At a certain point, you lose focus and that's when it can get dangerous. That said, with 7 sessions, you can skip one for an extended break. Plus, you can always drive slower and work on your line. My fastest session is usually 2 or 3 and BEFORE I eat.

The track day went well at Infineon today ! It rained half the day/half of the 6 sessions but great fun driving the M3 in the wet. About 7 M3's and an Dinan 850i were there.

My first time at Infineon in the E92 M3 in full blown stock trim. Awesome car. Kept up with the Porsche turbos, (and modified Caymans) until it started raining heavily. Didn't keep up with the Lotus's too well in the dry and a few spec miata's.
