Steel composition and lack of Hans would keep me from buying this particular seat. Nothing wrong with steel, just too many other cool materials out there.

Use the fabulous stock seats, buy and use the Hans device that goes with the stock seats and belts, and spend the extra $$$ on more track time.

This. Brakes are the weak point for track use. They should be items 1, 2, 3 in that order since they're expensive, but will help the most at the track, IMO.

OP needs to tell us how much track time he has under his belt?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Get some good endurance track pads and you'll be good brake-wise.
