What to do in a DCT in case of a spin
There is still time for me to take the M3 to the track (still break-in). But I was thinking about this the other day. On a manual, when you spin, the rule is simple: Both feet-in. What do you do in a DCT car?

Good question. I would say DCT shifter to the left for "N".

That's what I'm thinking, but how fast that works? I remember reading somewhere in the forum that you have to push to the left and hold for several seconds. I haven't tried yet.

Perhaps the transmission has logic driven by the wheel sensors and yaw angle sensor so it puts itself in neutral?

You don't have to do anything with the DCT in the event of a spin. It's smart enough to know to disengage the clutch in that case (I know from personal experience).
So in a DCT car, if you spin, just one foot on the brake is all you need to do.
