The exterior is starting to lool fantastic.

Why is the interior SOOO bland that it's almost painful to look at?

at this weight (3483 lbs), it's almost 100 pounds lighter than the outgoing 335i coupe (3571 lbs)!!

This is bad news for the E46 owners that were desperately hoping the E92 M would fall on its face....

first its the 8300 rpm peak hp, 8400 rpm redline and wide torque band. then it comes in at 3483 lbs. everytime something is released about this car, i am truly amazed! to all those with deposits you have to be dying in anticipation! wow

You are correct. I am glad so far I put down a deposit.

I have two problems though.

1) Really concerned about the price.

2) Rumored US release date of March/April 2008 because of DSG. Way too late and why is it ok to release Europe 6 months before then in MT?

The other advantage is that this is going to be a high-revving V8, therefore, the M3 will not be prone to turbo failure that the 335i's are at risk of in the future.

i've seen you post on a few other threads. i'm curious... do you make it a point to be conistently offensive or is that something you do by sheer coincidence?

also, i found your comment amusing given that your profile info says you plan on becoming a 335 owner.

Here is the pdf document behind those pictures (in german).

http://www.bmw.de/aktuell/automobile..._kommstart.pdf

Note: Fuel economy is virtually identical to the previous M3 @ 12.4L/100km (current Z4M coupe combined is 12.1L/100km). CO2 emissions, which are a function of fuel efficiency are 295 g/km (compared to 292 g/km for the current Z4M Coupe). So it looks like we can expect similar levels of economy to the previous M3 (rather than the heavy drinking M5/M6).
