2008 e90 M3 thought on price?
I have been looking for a while now for e90 M3. I found this car with following spec but I think price is still high.
2008 e90 (sedan), Silverstone Metallic exterior, black interior, all options except rear sun-shade. No moonroof as well. Mileage is 30000 miles. Seller is asking $33500 as his bottom price (wont go a cent below that) I checked Nada-guide and Edmund, Edmund's website appraisal for private party is 27k I am not sure if that's realistic price. Is seller's asking price good(average), or pretty high for an 08 (pre-lci) ? I still have to invest in updating the navigation as I don't like the pre-lci navigation. Any inputs is really appreciated ! |

Price seems fair to me. KBB/NADA/Edmunds always undervalue M-Cars like it's their job. My previous E46 M3 was $14k KBB. Sold it for $23k..

Thats a great price considering it's a slicktop and has only 30k miles.
Jump on that!

I would pass because of 3 owners. just my thing.
Another thing is, if you don't think its good price, move on. There is always better ones out there. personally I do think its fair-ish.... but its not too good price either. |

One week ago the price seemed to be good after checking nadaguide and edmunds, however, I just checked it today, surprisingly, prices went down by another 2K on these website so for 33.5K it is over market according to these websites lol |

Had a few issues thus far, but I expect it in anything German. Two days after I picked it up, I had my local dealer replace everything they could under the remaining CPO warranty (turned out to have needed new timing cover gaskets and a couple of other small bits under the hood). Roughly 2 months later, the HVAC blower, FSU and wire harness needed replacing (harness was frayed yielding the HVAC controls & blower inactive). And a few weeks ago I had the battery replaced with a new OEM unit due to low voltage issues. At this point I really hope the car doesn't give me any more problems thru the end of the year. Seems like these cars are only running @ 100% for 2-3 months tops before something gives out. As a side-effect of being OCD, I can't stand to have anything broken on my cars. It was even worse in my AMG.

Just bought a 2008 m3 alpine white, red nav, every option except the extended leather with 49000 miles for 35,000 maybe alittle high but i could bot find this
Color combo anywhere for under 40,000 competition package too. Mine had 3 owners as well but i found out it was really only 1. The dealer owned it as a show car, then a company leased it and the guy who had the lease bought it out! So technically 1 owner. Amazing condition. It is worth every penny!!!!! Buy now! |

I purchased an E90 recently and paid a little more for it. It has every option, one owner with 14,000 miles on it and is Melbourne Red with Fox Red interior. Buying an M3 for about half of the sticker price ($69,200) sounded like a good bargain to me. Good Luck.
