Clear Bra

Took the M in for protection treatment...full front bumper, full hood, full front fender, mirrors, headlights, rockers and rear quarter panels. Beautiful.

Same here? Wondering whether it's worth it to not worry about chips…

Install was just shy of $1900. Bugs, chips, road grime...no problem.

That's a good price as long as the hood and fender cuts were wrapped under to leave a seamless finish.

Car looks great.

You'll thank yourself many times for biting the bullet for that mod.

My 08 M3 has 165000 miles on it now. It has had clear bra since new. It is understandably 'worn out' with bugs and small scratches and kinda dull, no shine.

Yesterday I removed some. I removed the film from the headlights. They look brand new. I took the film off my mirrors. They are perfect underneath. I will leave the bumper covered, but I don't know for how long. If I remove it the paint will look so much better. I'm tempted.

Now I'm wonderig what is the purpose of the bra? Obviously to protect it. But for the next owner or me? I say me.

What I did. Re-wrapped since the first yellowed after two years. Its possible to detect the film on the edges but don't care as I love the protection.

I could repaint the bumper for what it costs to re-wrap.

I couldn't. Paid under $500 for first round and had 2nd for free (complete bonnet, fenders etc like above). Also prefer to keep original paint as far as possible. $1900 would def scare me off though.

Looks great.

If there's anyone in the tri-state, let me know if you're looking for a recommendation. I had one passed on to me and just used his services. Incredible, clean, well priced work...and he's mobile (within reason). He does this professionally and works on higher end cars, exotics (Lamborghini, Ferarri, etc...) I wrapped about 3/4 (all custom cut except for the front bumper which was precut) of my car and I'm incredibly protective of it and how it's handled and worked on. I basically want no one touching it or working on it lol but now that it's done, I can say it was by far my best investment yet and my car was in 'professional' hands the whole time.

edit:
Out of respect for his services, I would prefer not to share what I had paid, but please feel free to pm me and I will provide the installer's contact information. I've done all of the vetting and this is a trusted professional installer at a reasonable price.
