I guess my question back would be, "Why would you buy an exhaust system that is not mandrel bent?".

My guess is it would be better to stick with the OEM unit.

Why are we asking this question? What system out there is made that isn't mandrel bent?

A mandrel bent tube retains its original diameter at the bends. In a non-mandrel bent tube a "kink" forms at the bend, therefore decreasing diameter. In an exhaust system this "kink" defeats the purpose of improved flow, creates more turbulence, etc. Hope this helps. Perhaps someone can elaborate more. And no, I woud not buy non-mandrel bent.
