2009 LeMans Blue E90

Well, after a long summer of waiting and rolling the dice on a color I had not seen, I'm thrilled to get my new ride. It's a bit darker than I imagined, pictures were taken in the bright sunlight, but it's a bit lighter than IB which is just what I wanted (but still don't understand the logic of LMB and IB with so few color choices available).

M-DCT does take getting used to (I was a manual transmission only guy, but the new technology + family useage made me give it a try), but boy is this a wonderful car, definately a notch above my 2002 M3. Also, new iDrive is definately the way to go, extra buttons are a bit busy, but it is quicker to get to where you need to go in the system. Very happy with my purchase so far...

Let me be one of the first...

...to offer congrats!

Beautiful color, however while the refreshed tails are an improvement they are still not as nice as blacklines when paired with (LM/IL/Montego) Blue.

Any interior pics?

like these tails better they look more aggressive to add to the rear bumper. i wonder why they kept the current e92 headlights and not switched with the 09 e90s.

Congrats on being the first owner of a LMB E9X M3 on this forum. It looks fantastic!

I'm sure all other prospective M3 buyers would appreciate it if you could park next to an IB M3 and take some side by side pictures.

I think that's the first facelift car I've seen in LeMans blue! It's really a gorgeous color, you did well.

What are your plans with the car? I know you said it'll be seeing some family use... do you have any plans to track it as well?

Man, that last week of waiting is rough, especially when it seems like everyone else is already taking delivery of their new cars. Words will not describe how good you will feel when you finally take delivery.

Why would a dealer put a sticker or anything on the back of a new BMW, let alone an M3?

Anyway, awesome color...just ordered mine last week. Looks good!!!
