Newb question, what does the extension do? Better feel? Shorter range in motion?

Not sure if you understood my post. The shifter did come in a month ago but just came back from the fab shop. The custom work looks great.

hahah yea but i dont know which one to use everyday so when i leave for work in the morning, i use the carbon knob, and after work when im tired, i switch to the long one....

Hi,

Does this fit with the standard gaiter and gearknob? I only ask because I have previously fitted SSKs and found that the revised position of the gearstick meant that the gaiter no longer fitted properly......

Can you ship this to the UK and if so please PM me a price including fast shipping?

Also, can anybody who has had this SSK fitted for a while chime in and let me know how they feel about it.... (I have read the review thread posted above but that is quite old now and I wanted a view from somebody who has had this in the car for a while...).
