How is your shoe tasting right about now? Need some salt?

That was the reply you posted in another thread when I told the OP he should be careful and not drive like a jackass because at any given moment, a kid, car, or in your case, a deer, can pop out and cause something like this to happen. I'm not saying you were driving wreckless but lets be real, if you were paying 100% attention this could of been avoided, especially at only 40mph if thats how fast you were really driving. Either way, at least you are okay. The car can be fixed/replaced, but you cant. Might as well use this as an excuse to add a few upgrades. Maybe some CF grills and a CF front lip? Goodluck

Bambi had such a tragic life. First it's mom dies from a hunter then you ran it over. Finally, closer to the life after the book.
& then John got his car fixed, good as new. The End.... |

You have problems with Deers, we have problems with Kangaroo's. Because they stand so tall they come through the windscreen, this chap got killed.
Now they are allowed to ride bikes on the road as well!

Possibly true, possibly false. Didn't the OP say there was heavy traffic? Still, I don't understand why you'd make a judgment like this when you weren't there. How could you possibly know? 40 mph is fast, and things like this happen very quickly.

Actually I wasnt making a judgement at all. Maybe you should re-read my post and the original thread I am referring to. Do a search.

The preliminary estimate is sitting at 9,600 dollars right now before they start pulling the front end apart.
Not that it matters but this happened right at 7am friday morning 'rush hour' on a 4 lane divided highway with medium to heavy traffic. The speed limit is 55mph and i was going slower than that. The deer must have been running pretty quick from the woods because it came from my right, I hit the car head on and the deer flew off the hood to the left and ended up in the center median.... I have deer slober on my driver side front fender.... this was the alleged deer before the incident- more pictures of car-
