Angry Emergency Lane is for Emergencies ONLY!!!

I'm staying at my parents for the meantime until my place gets power back. With no traffic to light traffic it takes me 20-25 minutes to get to and from work. The last 2 days it's taken me 1.5 hours to get home!!!

Well you dickheads that keep flying down the emergency lane thinking your time is more important than anyone elses can go to hell! Oooooh, you have your emergency lights on! BIG FUCKING DEAL!!!! And these guys aren't just driving by at 15mph, I'm talking 55-65mph! Can you imagine the outcome if they happened to clip a car practically standing still?

I wish I had a big ass F-350 with an iron ranch hand bumper. I can only hope there's one right in front of you and he moves over just enough to stop your bitch ass in place and total your car.

Guess my rants over, I'm just so sick of all the lack of patience and selfishness around this city following Ike.

Oh, and in case you're wondering one was a Nissan Morano and the other was an older 5er.

Ha, that's nothing, just yesterday on my way back home from school I'm stuck in traffic and the light is red, I was 3rd in line. All the sudden a cop of a police motorcycle comes by on the other side of the road with his chase lights on, as soon as he passes the light I remain looking at him and his lights turn off immediately.

My first thought "Wow, what a little bitch." I can rant as much as you just did probably daily with the Miami traffic here that will never end.

People here drive on the shoulder constantly. If they want an exit that's half a mile up the road, and there's heavy traffic, they'll just drive on the shoulder for half a mile. I always just hope that get flats driving through all the junk.

Its not a lane for the public to use if they need to get somewhere fast and there's traffic, the lane is there to get broken down cars off the road and give EMERGENCY vehicles an outlet.

Ok Mr. Fancy Pants, don't act like you wouldn't use the emergency lane if there was loads of traffic and you had an actual emergency just because there is some law.

Lol, I got pulled over for that 2 years ago b/c was late to a law final (unexpected traffic). Never did it again and, yeh, it does piss me off to see ppl doing it. I just leave about a qtr of the car in the emergency lane to ensure no one passes by me using that lane in traffic ...a$$hole move, but whatever. What's annoying is that cops use it all the time to blow by traffic though there's no real emergency.

I don't know about you... but I am always the 1st one to jump onto the emergency lane as soon as I see any traffic. The more flexible and smarts guys follow... but those tight ass stay behind and honk. There's no better feeling seeing those losers get pissed sitting in still traffic while I blow by at 65 in the emergency lane!!! LMAO

They are probably on call for a fire department or other EMS agency and need to get to a call asap. Therefore, they are not part of the general public. If you see blue lights flashing, they are not law enforcement, but they are volunteer responders for a fire dept. Why don't you educate yourself on the matter before making assumptions.

I probably would. But if it was an actual emergency, ie someone dieing in my car, I'd be calling 911 first.

That said, I see this happenign wayyyyy to often for every person who's doing it to be having an emergency.

Umm....they were by themselves. One in a BMW and the other in a brand new Morano, within 10-15 seconds of one another. They both have emergencies? No, if you have an emergency you call 911. These guys were being assholes.

If there's an actual emergency and traffic can't go any faster than 5 mph you call 911. That's what it's there for.

No they weren't. I know firefighters. They all have stickers on their cars saying HFD, CyFair FD, etc. One was a some chick, and the other was some dude in a suit and tie.

Yall can think of all the excuses you want but they were only trying to get farther ahead in traffic.

not having electricity for 5+ more days can cause sudden mood swing over little things

Don't sweat it dude, let them be on their marry way, emergency lanes around here are filled with debris (they won't go too far with a flat)

I hate people that do that. Along with people who zip to the end of a "lane ending" lane because they don't want to wait in the nicely formed line of cars like everyone else. I usually sit half into that lane (or all the way in it just going at the lines pace )

I am never in a rush to get any where so i dont bother driving in the breakdown lane. I also dont give a shit if other people do drive in the break down lane, i'm not the police so what do i give a flying fuck.
And why worry if people get ahead of you in traffic. you're only stressing yourself out for nothing and you will have a heart attack before you are 50 with this attitude. My attitude is basically fuck it.
