most recent lighting mods

Finally had a minute with my home computer to upload a few pics...

i apologize a few of the pics are a little blurry (iphone camera and low light requiring high ISO on dslr) but you get the general idea...

interior mods:
white leds for the glove box, trunk, map, and vanity lights
blue leds for the under door courtesy lights, floorwell lights, and dome lights
basically the point was to have the interior light up blue when i unlock the car or have the doors open and when i need actual light to read something i wanted to have white leds to still keep function

exterior mods:
white led angel eyes (looking for a better version as i have come across several e9x 3series (not m) that are 1000x brighter so please give me suggestions) at 6000k heat intensity, 6000k d1s, and weisslicht white led turn signals. the only light i forgot about swapping out was the cornering lights... anyone know if this is an h3 bulb so i can change this out for something less yellow????

before:

after:

first pic below is a little bit on the fuzzy side because it was at night and my garage lights are terrible for the moment so iso was set way high but you can see the white led turn signals, angels, and headlights all on which are all the same shade of white which was ultimately my goal. the led turn signals are a bit whiter than i expected so I may have to up my 6000k to something whiter and my angel eyes seriously need to be better. the simple solutions of city vision or weisslicht h8 bulbs are seriously lackluster in my opinion:

first time ive really done mods to any car owned... can easily see how people are pouring thousands upon thousands in to this as I am feeling the draw to do more

It looks good. I also have the LEDs interior and I love them. They are really bright. The cornering lights are H3. And I believe they are not hard to change. Easier than changing the Angel Eyes light bulbs.

I did the blues out of convenience actually, wasn't sure how I'd feel about them because they aren't as bright as if they were all whites but they are actually kind of nice on the eyes in person. The buddy of mine that did lighting work didn't have enough of each type of bulb to do all white so I did this as an interim type thing. Once tired of the blue I'll def be going all white. And that was kind of the same as the turn bulbs, wanted them because they were different and installed they look decent but I'm sure after a couple months I'll get tired of it and put the amber LEDs in.

Nice pics of the lights. Just picked up my AW E90 DCT M3 this past Wednesday. Question: What type of LEDs are folks putting in as a replacement? Mainly looking for interior. There are so many wedge style bulbs on the market.

Well the blue only gets turned on when I hit unlock or have doors open so while you are driving it isn't something u would know is blue. No problems with it so far at least

If u visit e-92 lighting or jlevisw.com they sell a kit for replacing the interiors with white. I want to say it's around 80 dollars for the full kit for your interior. The all white is pretty sweet and my own opinion is blue led only works with certain interior colors. If ppl use blue while having a fox red interior it would look weird. Same if someone has a wood dash I think blue led on it may be odd. White led is more universally useable for sure!
