About a week ago I bought a lightly used Brembo GT 380 BBK from a fellow m3post member (thank you!!) . The kit arrived packed really well and in excellent near new condition. Initially I was on the lookout for a stoptech slotted rotor kit but this deal was too good to pass up.

This bbk is now on my car, brakes have been bled and pads bedded in .. and let me say that even on the street the stopping power is night and day (vs stock). I can’t wait to try this on the track!.

I had the stoptech trophy kit on my old m3 and the brembo feels better than the stoptech did, meaning the feel is more progressive and linear and stronger. Ofcourse this comparion is based on a street feel only and the stoptechs were great too... in my head, the slight edge goes to the brembos .. – can’t wait to try this on the track!

Also the APEX-EC7 wheels are awesome and there were no clearance issues!

and yeah I know .. the car is super dirty from all the seattle rain and slush! it’ll be getting a nice bath tomorrow.

Just curious, why did you opt for the 380/345 kit as opposed to 380 all around?

Bought it used. Also 380 all around is more just for show and not really needed for the track.

Contratulations! Have my Brembo slotted steel rotors on my RS now. Had fun at the skills day in Bremerton. I think I will do another in Feb as I am trying to get dialed in on this car.

very normal... nt05s felt great when I was out on them last weekend..the car was sliding around but in a very predictable fashion (infact that's the part that is fun!)

just need to warm them up over two laps and then they're fine... NT01s should also be okay on dry days as long as they are sufficiently warmed up..
