KW CS too much for street? V3 better?

are the KW CLUBSPORTS too much for street? i do track the car...am i better going with the KW V3?

i was in the same situation.. and went with the V3... i am happy i did because i wouldn't want much stiffer then this.. Also i heard noise/vibration is worse with the CS...

Clubsports don't have any warranty. I'd go with V3 unless the car is an exclusive track car.

Clubsports are designed for the track ( they are fully compliant for the street) but they are designed for the track hope that makes sense.

As to the V3 - as mentioned they carry on the lifetime warranty. The clubsports don't carry a warranty on them - KW will do repairs on the product however. Upper mounts are included with the clubsports as well.

V3, hands down, is the BEST system for those who drive on the street. It is the most flexible in terms of "weekend warrior" situations where you want to stiffen the car, but the most forgiving (because you can adjust both dampening and rebound) during the week.

If it's in your budget, you should go V3. Personally, I went V2, and haven't had any regrets, either.

With the caveat that my experience is with a Cayman S, I ran V3 for a year and when they needed to be rebuilt KW USA upgraded the valve, shim stack, main springs and helpers and monoball top mounts to clubsport specs for additional cost.

My Cayman is just short of being a track only car, it's not much fun on the street anymore. The V3s were great for both uses, the Clubsports much more suited to just trackwork, they actually make me drive much slower and more cautiously on the street which takes away enjoying the car.

Also no Street Comforts unfortunately - then again I can't imagine a demand for KW's street comforts. V2's could be something I could bring up to them, but KW has really wanted people who experience their V3 level at minimum especially their M3 customers.

I have been running the CS on the street in my car for about 6 months now with no issues. They are not that aggressive at all, but again its all relative.
