Trans Question

Hey guys, it's been raining like crazy the this past weekend here in the midwest. I was driving through some heavy rain and a few intersections with atleast a foot of water, I thought my car was seriously going to be screwed. Everything seemed fine until today. I know its normal to hear the spinning noise the trans makes in neutral and goes away when you depress the clutch, but for some reason it sounds a lot louder today. I'm thinking some water could have mixed with my trans fluid. I'm going to have to drain it and refill it. Anyone know what kind of trans fluid the e90 M3 takes? I'm not planning to take it to the dealer for this and would like any suggestions ya guys got on types of fluids out there, thanks.

dude chill out. how could water get mixed with the tranny fluid LOL

Drove the car again today and everything seems fine, I must just have been freaking out. I could have flooded my engine but I guess theres no worries with anything else. I was just going crazy, my bad.
